Adriana Oxford is a contemporary artist and designer from Southeast Texas. Dedicated to exploring the creative intersection of interiors, architecture, fine art, and product development, our innovative approach to space is fresh and lively.

Inspired by the natural elements and her vibrant upbringing, Adriana creates bold collections of furniture, fine art, textiles, and prints, that breathe fresh life into every room. Adriana Oxford Studio was founded in Houston, Texas, in 2020 and is currently nestled between Texas and the woods of Colorado, with clients and collectors across the United States.

Meet the Artist

ADRIANA OXFORD

I have always loved being multidimensional - interested in a vast variety of mediums, subjects, and creative outlets. I grew up in an extremely visual home. My mom was always interested in design, changing, tweaking, and moving things around our house week after week, bringing in new art, furniture, and textiles. Our home was a constant evolution. On top of that, I grew up traveling quite a bit. The world became this lens for me to experience culture, experiment with adaptability, meet a wide variety of people, and to come into very close proximity with the arts. Just as my own mother stoked my creativity, Mother Nature was always my strongest confidant. From a very young age, travel, nature, and design were dear friends that cultivated my visual eye and interest in crafting beauty.

I continued my artistic evolution at UT Austin, followed by the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design for my Masters in Interior Architecture. As I worked with clients creating their homes, restaurants, public spaces, and commissioned works, I often took notes from my mother’s playful approach to creation and the vibrant organic backdrop of my childhood.

Over the years, I have worked in residential design, for design builds, boutique firms, alongside Kelly Wearstler herself, for the largest architectural firm in the world, and am currently represented by myself. I have always operated under the notion that art and architecture are combined - the experience is homogenous. Art speaks to space, and space speaks to art. I believe beauty exists in every circumstance and am determined to encounter it.

Just as we support other makers, all of AO Studio’s products are meticulously crafted using high-end materials. Each piece is painted with museum quality canvas, oil paint, and varnish; printed on gallery quality, fine art paper; and can be hand framed to ensure you receive a beautiful and unique product for your space.
